Green Tire Curing

Curing a green tire with saturated steam is a critical process. Here a QKL proportional pressure regulator (electro-pneumatic regulator, I/P converter) is piloting a steam regulator that adjust the pressure of steam entering the mold. The indirect control of steam pressure with this method is much accurate then direclty controlling steam pressure.

Our proportional pressure regulator is best suited for this application due to its high flow rate, fast response time, and high accuracy. Our regulators are capable of modulating from 2 bar to 65 bar with accuracy of 0.25% FS. (higher pressure range can be customised upon request)
