Gate Valve Pressure Control

QKL proportional pressure regulator (electro-pneumatic regulator) can be used in gate valve pressure control applications to remotely actuate the gate valve open and closed. In this drawing, a QKL electronic pressure regulator is controlling the pressure on the dome of several gate valves in a wood curing process. Variable pressure on the dome of the regulators controls the air pressure going to furnaces. Also QKL proportional pressure control valve assembly is placed inside an enclosure – this can be used to protect against heat or to meet hazardous location requirements.

Our proportional pressure regulator is best suited for this application due to its high flow rate, fast response time, and high accuracy. Our regulators are capable of modulating from 2 bar to 65 bar with accuracy of 0.25% FS. (higher pressure range can be customised upon request)
