Stent Coating

Medical stents and other biomedical devices are almost always coated with some type of polymer or drug coating. The diagram above shows a QKL (electronically controlled pneumatic pressure regulator) precisely regulating vacuum in the coating chamber. Another QKL pressure regulator is shown controlling pressure to an ultrasonic nozzle that atomizes the liquid media.

Our proportional pressure regulator is best suited for this application due to its high flow rate, fast response time, and high accuracy. Our regulators are capable of modulating from 2 bar to 65 bar with accuracy of 0.25% FS. (higher pressure range can be customised upon request)
